Susie Herrick is a Psychotherapist, Conflict Resolution Mediator, Enneagram Teacher, and Author, who focuses on how to promote relational intelligence and wisdom in individuals, couples and groups. She is the author of Aphrodite Emerges, and the co-author of Your Story is Your Power, with both books offering ways to transform difficult relational issues into powerful voices from within. She has taught thousands of students in psychology and mediation/conflict resolution.

Susie was familiar with After-Death-Communications (ADC) because she had experienced them at various times in her life, and had also encountered them professionally, as an educator and psychotherapist. Many years after a heartbreaking divorce, Susie’s ex-husband died suddenly. When she received an ADC from him, she was surprised, but not unprepared. What she found that she was unprepared for was how comprehensive the ADC was, as well as for the profound emotional effect it had on her. The similarities it had to an NDE experience and the "Bardo" research she had done in Tibet were amazing, as were the events that followed!

The Enneagram: Growing Beyond the Limitations of Personality

In this Power Boost with Susie Herrick, author, psychotherapist, and personality typology expert,  we will explore how women can use the Enneagram personality system to help us build a bridge back to our authentic voice and feminine power.  When we use the Enneagram effectively, it provides us with ways to emerge with more coherence, strength and agency.

More specifically, we will practice how to use the Enneagram to understand the motivation underlying our working style, and enable us to grow beyond the limitations of personality, in order to have more conscious choices.

The ego fixations that keep away unwanted aspects of our mind are mapped out in the Enneagram typology system in amazing detail. It offers us a language, and reflective tool, of where the doors and pathways are to regain lost wisdom from the deep internal self. This enables us to have choice in how we want to respond, as opposed to being directed by something we cannot see. It aligns us with something almost ineffable; a wellspring of self that once touched, changes everything.  With this deeper understanding of ourselves, our capacity to lead effectively expands greatly.

What are the stories that we tell ourselves about ourselves as women? What are the stories that have been told about women for generations? How might we, amidst a global rising of Feminine Power, connect more deeply to our own feminine voices and support the voices of the women whom we love? As we come to understand our stories, along with the motivations behind them, we will positively change how our future unfolds.

This inspiring and practical talk—for women and men—shows us how to collectively uncover and understand our own stories about Feminine Power in order to live more confident, unapologetic lives.
